The Sheboygan Area School District is marking a major milestone in its facilities improvement plan with groundbreaking ceremonies at two middle schools next week.
The district will hold a ceremony at Farnsworth Middle School at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the South 10th Street parking lot, followed by a second event at 6 p.m. in the courtyard at Urban Middle School.
District officials say the ceremonies will celebrate the start of major renovation and construction projects made possible through voter approval of the 2024 school referendum. School leaders say the projects represent a significant investment in the future of education in Sheboygan.
