High School projects don’t usually come at this scale, but students in the Sheboygan Area School District think BIG. An open house was held on Monday at 2906 Stonebrook Drive for the 28th house built by SASD students enrolled in Career & Technical Education classes.

North High School senior William Feider designed the house and helped to build it. His design was selected last spring from plans drawn by students enrolled in the Project Lead the Way Civil Engineering and Architecture class.

The home is also the tenth built under the direction of instructor and project manager Ted Schermetzler, and the fifth student-built home in the Stonebrook Crossing subdivision by Werner Homes. It will likely be put on the market this summer.
