The City of Manitowoc is offering residents a one-time storm-related debris pick-up next week.
City officials say this is not a regular brush or bulk item pick up—but rather, is to assist those who are cleaning up yard waste following last weekend’s storms. Since the storm’s damage was mostly on the North side of town, the pickup will be focused north of the Manitowoc River. Those south of the river who also sustained damage are asked to contact the department of public works. Residents who are dealing with cleaning up after the storms this past weekend are asked to place storm related debris at their curb—for pickup after Memorial Day.
