Takeda engaged in antitrust scheme to delay generic constipation drug, US jury finds

BOSTON, May 18 (Reuters) – A ​U.S. ‌jury on Monday found that ‌Takeda ​Pharmaceutical ⁠caused ⁠pharmacies, insurers, retailers and others ​to sustain ⁠about $885 ⁠million in ​damages delaying ​the release ‌of a generic version ⁠of its anti-constipation drug ⁠Amitiza ‌through ⁠an ​anticompetitive ‌scheme.
