Unlike last week when some ramps on and off of I-43 experienced full closures, navigating the reconstruction of that road in Sheboygan County won’t be as complex this week.
The contractor will continue rehabbing various structures in both directions between County Highway “V” and State Highway 42. Right-of-way fence replacement will be done at the same time that milling and paving operations are conducted on that stretch. Long-term lane closures are in place, and there’s a 14-foot width restriction on all bridges in the work zone until July 1st, while a 17-foot with restriction is in place for the southbound crossing over the Pigeon River.
Work on the 10-mile stretch of the interstate began in mid-March, and is expected to continue until sometime in November.
