One person is hospitalized after being thrown from their truck in a single-vehicle rollover accident just after 5 O’clock on Wednesday afternoon.
Numerous callers notified officials of the accident that happened when the operator of the southbound pickup truck on Highway 57 tried a lane change near County Road “N” north of Waldo, lost control and over corrected, sending the vehicle into the median where it began to roll over. The operator and lone person in the vehicle was ejected, suffering life-threatening injuries. After initial care on the scene, the person was flighted by Flight for Life to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.
The investigation continues, and the name is being withheld at this time.
