Two ceremonies, at 9:30 AM and 2 PM, will see diplomas awarded to 1,331 eligible graduates. Among those are 218 Rising Phoenix graduates, students from state-wide high schools who will receive their associate degrees before even graduating high school later this month.
Thousands of friends and family of the Spring class of 2026 will be in attendance at the Kress Events Center on the Green Bay campus.
Featured student speakers include Grace Holschuh during the morning ceremony. Grace graduates this spring with a major in phychology, a minor in human biology and a 4.0 GPA, having earned Highest Honors every semester sine Fall 2022. Grace now works three jobs tied directly to patient care and vulnerable populations, and plans to apply to medical school this summer, hoping to begin her studies beginning in the fall of 2027.
The afternoon speaker is Reyna Barske who lost her mother early in life, moved away from home to live with her father and stepmother – a step she said taught her that some decisions matter more than others. With that attitude, she dismissed eight other schools in favor of UWGB. She will graduate on Saturday with a major in Finance and a minor in Human Resource Management.
