Racing fans will have to wait a week to get their thrills at the Sheboygan County Fairgrounds. Plymouth Dirt Track Racing, which planned to open its season on Saturday, said that cold, wet weather conditions have forced a change in plans.
The season opener for the Super Six Late Model Series is now set for Saturday, May 9th, with the PDTR 360 Sprint Cars, Grand Nationals and B-Mods also on tap. May 9th is also “You’re Our Heroes Night” with free admission for US Military, Police, Fire, and EMS personnel with valid ID along with an American flag giveaway for kids.
Early start times will again be in place next week with spectator gates opening at 4 PM, qualifying at 4:30, and racing to follow.
