Fire damaged a Sheboygan Falls condominium building on Tuesday afternoon.
The Sheboygan Falls Fire Department reported being dispatched, along with the Falls Police and Kohler Fire Departments, to a structure fire on Isabelle Court, just off Highway 32 North in Sheboygan Falls shortly after 4 PM Tuesday.
The first crews on the scene reported heavy black smoke and flames visible on the structure, and called in extra crews from the Town of Sheboygan Falls, Cedar Grove, Oostburg, the Cities of Sheboygan and Plymouth Fire Departments along with Orange Cross Ambulance.
Heavy flames and smoke on the exterior of the multi-family condominium were quickly addressed before all units had arrived, and unneeded responders were cancelled. A check for damage to the building and adjacent structures was completed and showed no lingering threat. Homeowners were not present when the fire broke out, and the Sheboygan County Fire Investigation team is assisting the Sheboygan Falls Police Department in determining the cause of the blaze.
