WASHINGTON, D.C., April 28, 2026 — The National Pork Producers Council, representing America’s 60,000-plus pork producers of all sizes, applauds the House Rules Committee for keeping intact the Farm Bill 2.0, specifically language that provides regulatory relief for farmers across the country.
“Pork producers thank Chairwoman Virginia Foxx and Chairman GT Thompson for standing up for our livelihoods,” said NPPC President Rob Brenneman, a pork producer from Washington, Iowa. “We will continue to fight for our freedom to farm, and we urge the full House to support the Farm Bill 2.0.”
