Some Girls Scouts in Plymouth had some help earning their first aid badges, thanks to members of the Plymouth Fire Department. The girl scouts from troop 8453 practiced bandaging and how to call for help in the event of an emergency as they worked on earning their first aid badges.
The girls were treated to a tour of an ambulance and fire equipment before enjoying some of those amazing girl scout cookies with the first responders. And speaking of the Plymouth Fire Department, the department is holding a chicken barbecue dinner fundraiser on Sunday, April 26th from 11-2 at the Plymouth Fire State at 111 East Main Street. $15 gets you half a chicken, coleslaw, potato salad and bread, and supports the fire department.
