A 66 year old Manitowoc man has been arrested on allegations of sexually abusing a child.
According to reports, the man was arrested after police were called to investigate a report of a missing juvenile. The child admitted to officers that they had been assaulted by the suspect. When the suspect was located by Manitowoc police, he refused officer’s request to search his phone, and requested his lawyer be present before answering questions.
He was placed into custody and is facing charges of sexual assault of a child.
