New members will be installed when the first regular meeting of the 2026-27 Common Council convenes at 6 O’clock this evening. The Alderpersons Elect are Erin Bremser in District 2, District 4’s Alanza Grawein, Dean Dekker in District 6, Bryan Kelly in District 8, and Joe Heidemann in District 10.
The agenda is mostly filled with constitutional items including the elections of the President and Vice-President of the Council, election of a representative on the City Plan Commission; an address will be given by the new Council President and there will be mayoral appointments and committee reactivation.
Following the Common Council meeting the Committee of the Whole will convene to elect its Chairperson, completing the first session of business for the new Common Council.
