A historic Elkhart Lake resort has been purchased by a local investor group. The Wisconsin business magazine, Insight on Business, reports that the group, led by Paul Weaver, has purchased the former Victorian Village and Shore Club resort properties and renamed them as the Elkhart Lake Beach Resort. The purchase includes the condos, indoor and outdoor pools, the Victorian guest house, Tiki Bar on the beach, the pool and beach house, along with 600 feet of beach, other structures and land.
Weaver said that they intend to revive the quality of the facilities, operations, and guest and owner experience that he said had diminished over the last decade. The lodging and market will likely be open by mid May, while he expects the Tiki Bar and Watersports activities to be open on or before the Memorial Day weekend.
