Thunderstorms did develop in the Sheboygan area as predicted overnight, but they were scattered and not all received the activity. But a passing cold front could still generate hazardous conditions today.
Here in east-central Wisconsin attention turns to the northwest as storms associated with that front are poised to approach, and move through between 7 AM and 1 PM with some of those capable of producing hail up to one inch in diameter in the strongest cells. That potential will be greatest toward noon, but the activity will be scattered, making it hard to pinpoint the most likely targets. But after 2 PM the cold front stalls to our south, keeping severe potential in the far southeast counties away from here. Rain could add up to between a quarter and a half inch, with temperatures lingering in the upper 40s most of today.
After a dry night, a raw day is in store on Wednesday with gusty northwest winds and a slight chance of rain, maybe even some snowflakes continuing until Thursday when more thunderstorms return.
