Manitowoc County authorities are investigating a two-vehicle crash that took the life of a 20-year-old Wauwatosa man around 5:30 this past Friday evening.
Deputies responded to the scene at the intersection of State Highway 42 and East Hillcrest Road in the Township of Two Rivers where it appears that the Wauwatosa man, identified as Adnan Bhatti, was eastbound on Hillcrest Road and failed to stop as posted at Highway 42. His Toyota Camry was struck by a southbound vehicle operated by 59-year-old Timothy Armstrong from Pennsylvania state, propelling the Camry on a collision course into a residence where it caused minor structural damage.
Bhatti was transported to Aurora BayCare Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased while Armstrong was evaluated at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay and released.
Initial results revealed no alcohol or drugs in either driver, and the investigation is continuing.
