Lawrence Gross age 83 passed away following a head injury fall at his home on Feb 8, 2026. He was born in Marshfield WI to Harry and Audrey (nee Otto) Gross. He attended school in Oshkosh and entered the army after graduation in 1960. He earned a bachelor’s degree from UW Oshkosh and a Masters degree from UW Milwaukee. After spending many years in education ending here as principal of Sheboygan Falls elementary & middle school, Lawrence drove a transit bus for the city of Sheboygan. After retiring he became a grandpa babysitter.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Cynthia (nee Boettcher), son Aaron (Julie) Gross, daughter Rebecca Gross-Schuette. Grandchildren Jacob (Anna) Gross, great grandson Theodore; Peter (Emily) Gross; Jessica Gross; Abigail Gross and Samuel Schuette. Step grandchildren Moriah, Anna, Jesse, Kaitlyn and great grandchild Riley Knutson. He is further survived by a sister Mary Bartels, brothers Stephen (Barabara) Gross and Sidney (Carol) Gross.
Lawrence was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Lori Ann Gross (nee Markiewicz).
Lawrence and Cynthia attended and members of St. Paul Lutheran in Sheboygan Falls.
Services will be held privately by family.
