An early heads-up was issued by National Weather Service forecasters for anyone needing to travel both overnight tonight, and again on Friday. The concerns around Sheboygan County centered on a light snowfall that may accumulate by tomorrow morning, and involve fog and drizzle lingering through Thursday night. By Friday morning another round of snow, this time mixed with freezing drizzle, is possible. For those in southwest Wisconsin the air may be warm enough on Friday to produce mostly rain.
After the systems move through, gusty northwest winds displace the moisture and push temperatures down to an eventual low in the single digits by Saturday morning.
Throughout the events, snow isn’t likely to add up to over an inch, but with the fog and drizzle, travel could get dicey.
