When winter weather turns dangerously cold and unforgiving, safety becomes the number-one concern, and school districts are among the first to react…and they have.
With Extreme Cold Warnings in effect, The Sheboygan Area School District has proactively cancelled Friday classes, and so today will be the close of this school week.
Other districts in the County already cancelling Friday classes include Sheboygan County Head Start, Sheboygan Falls Schools, the Howards Grove District, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Kohler, and Cedar Grove Belgium…so far. Not all have taken action as of early Thursday morning, and that list may grow.
