Rounds of light snow kept mobile by brisk winds, along with cold amplified by those same winds, dominate weather hazards in the Sheboygan area for the coming days.
A winter weather advisory until 9 PM was as close as Ozaukee County, as areas in that direction accumulated several inches of snow, while only trace amounts were seen in Sheboygan County. Periods of light snow will be present now through early Monday, with additional accumulations by Sunday night anywhere from 1-3 inches. Snow will be accompanied by northwest winds gusting to around 40 MPH by Sunday night, generating wind chills breaking the minus 20 degree mark by Monday morning.

Bitter cold is expected to continue on Martin Luther King Day, with highs barely inching above the zero mark on winds that may force wind chills as cold as 25 below before day’s end. Only mild relief is seen throughout the upcoming week.
