Sheboyganites could be paying more for recycling and trash services soon.
The city’s Finance and Personnel Committee has passed a resolution that would increase recycling and garbage collection fees. If approved by the full council, residents will see monthly recycling fees raised from $4.35 to $4.75, and garbage fees increased from $5.65 to $6.25.
This would be the first increase in those fees in 13 years.
