The median selling price of a home in Sheboygan County during October demonstrated the highest gain among all surrounding counties compared to last October according to the latest report from the Wisconsin Realtors Association.
According to their release on Thursday, the organization said that the existing home sales and median prices both increased statewide during October, moving in concert with the data reported here.
Sheboygan County saw an increase of 17.6% in the median price of a home compared to October of ’24, reaching $300,000. Fond du Lac County saw an increase of 12.8% while Ozaukee County recorded a 5.8% increase for the year; the remainder of regional counties saw decreases.
Home sales here saw an increase of 14.2% compared to last October, an average rate compared to the rest of the area. Fond du Lac County saw a 23.4% increase in sales, while both Ozaukee and Washington Counties saw decreases for the year.
Monthly inventory increased by 3% compared with last October, while the average days on the market also went up 12.1% here, somewhat buffering an otherwise aggressive report from the WRA.
