A Sheboygan man has pleaded not guilty in connection to the shooting of a tourist in Sheboygan Falls in September. Luis Cruz Burgos is facing a charge of First-Degree Reckless Homicide in the death of 32-year-old Giovanni “Mike” Robinson of Ontario, Canada, and could face up to 60 years in prison if convicted.
Investigators say Burgos shot Robinson after the Canadian tried to negotiate with Burgos for a ride, and instead chose to walk.
Burgos is to appear back in court for a Scheduling Conference on January 20, 2026.
