Liz Majerus has officially taken the post of Sheboygan City Attorney. Majerus, who had been serving as Deputy Attorney since Charles Adams left that post in March, sets precedent as both the first female, and the first appointed to the post in Sheboygan. She began working for the City in 2017 as a part-time municipal prosecutor and has been working full-time here since 2022.
Majerus is the current president of the Sheboygan County Bar Association and has been an active member with the League of Municipalities, serving as an author and speaker on the many challenges and issues facing local governments today.
City Administrator Casey Bradley noted that Majerus brings “immense legal expertise and a deep commitment to public service in her tenure”, and said that the City “…looks forward to her valuable legal guidance to council, administration and all city departments.”
