Federal Budget Stalemate Impacts Sheboygan’s Weill Center Schedule

The stalemate in Washington over the federal budget is now having a direct impact on the Sheboygan area.

The Stephanie Weill Center was to have hosted an appearance of the US Navy Band Commodores Jazz Ensemble this coming Tuesday.  The performance was part of the US Navy’s 250th birthday celebration.

However on Wednesday, the US Navy Band informed the Weill Center that “Due to a lapse of appropriations, the Navy Band concert scheduled for November 4, 2025 at the Stefanie H. Weill Center for the Performing Arts has been canceled.”
