A new rehabilitation hospital in the Village of Cleveland will officially open with a full ceremony on Tuesday.
The opening of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital Lakeshore will be celebrated with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Chamber Manitowoc County from 4-6 PM Tuesday.
The new 36-bed medical rehab hospital will treat patients with disabling injuries or illnesses caused by strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis and other complex conditions.
The facility will join a family of six operating hospitals in Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, and New Mexico. The Cleveland location is expected to treat more than 650 patients annually while creating about 100 new jobs for the area.
