Those looking to buy a home in Sheboygan County are seeing rising prices and tightening inventory, but that hasn’t slowed sales. According to the report of August activity by the Wisconsin Realtors Association, the August median home price rose 12.7% compared to last year at $319,950, with sales volume nearly matching that increase at 11.1%. Among surrounding counties, Fond du Lac saw the largest increase in price at 15.4%, while Washington County saw a 1/2 of 1% decrease in prices over last year. Manitowoc County is alone among the neighbors with a median price under $300K, at $257,400.
The average term between listing and sale in Sheboygan County last month was 61 days, down slightly (3.2%) over last year, while inventory shrank by 8.3% over 2024 with a 3.3 month supply of homes available.
