The Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center has been named an Accredited Center of Excellence in Emergency Medical Dispatch. The designation is given by the Accredited Center of Excellence, which promotes organizational excellence in public safety communications, and provides a rigorous and measurable set of globally recognized best practices.
A release from the County Communications Center said that the status recognizes above-industry-standard performance, and a daily commitment to quality care for the community. The honor marks the 361st designation made out of more than 3,500 eligible agencies globally.
