The Sheboygan County Fair is ready for its 174th year with the official opening today. The annual event is a true midwest classic with 4-H exhibits, project and baking competitions, rides, entertainment, and food on a stick, of course, – just to name a few.
The 2025 Fairest of the Fair, Peyton Vorpahl, spoke with Ben Olsen of WHBL’s sister station, The Point on Wednesday to offer a few highlights.
“We’re bringing back the circus this year, so definitely check that out. And then Saturday, new to the fair, we’re hosting country music artist Cooper Allen featuring Thomas Mack, and then all the regular favorites of the rodeo, tractor pulls, sprint car racing – it’s all going to be there in the grandstand, so come check it out.”
The fair runs through Monday. Adult admission is $10 daily, kids 10-14 are admitted for $5, and those 9 and under are free. You can also get season ticket packets for as low as $40. For details, visit The Sheboygan County Fair online.
