Joe Sheehan
Democratic Governor Tony Evers and the Republican Majority in Madison have famously tussled over education policy over the past years, and if you’re wondering where that leaves us, you can find out more next Tuesday. On that day, Democrat Assembly Representative Joe Sheehan will host an informational Town Hall meeting on Wisconsin’s K-12 policies in the Rocca Room at the Mead Public Library.
The session, scheduled for 90 minutes beginning at 6:15 PM, is meant to update citizens on those policies and to answer any education-related questions you might have.
Sheehan, a former Sheboygan Area School District Superintendent, said that after passage of the latest state budget, his office took a poll on issues people would like addressed, and education was the most requested. There’s no registration required…just show up with your questions on Tuesday.
