Winnebago County Sheriff's Office
Winnebago County Authorities have reported that a man has died in a fire. The Sheriff’s Office there said they were called to a home in the Town of Clayton southwest of Appleton on Friday, arriving to a scene of a home with the roof on fire and the entire structure filled with smoke.
Responding firefighters extinguished the blaze and discovered a deceased male inside the residence. The identity of the person is know, but is being withheld while the investigation continues.
