Fond du Lac County authorities have released the name of an 81-year-old woman who was killed in a head-on collision at midday on Tuesday. The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office says that Mary Naggatz of Sun Prairie was killed when she apparently suffered a medical emergency and crossed the grass median into the northbound lanes of Highway 151 near Thill Road in the Town of Oakfield at about 12:30 PM Tuesday. She struck a vehicle driven by 58-year-old Daniel Sturm of Waupun, who sustained serious injuries. Occupants of a third vehicle that was sideswiped by Sturm after he was struck, were not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
