Your outdoor plans for the 4th of July are getting favorable treatment from Mother Nature. National Weather Service forecasts are painting a picture of warm and humid weather – typical of this time of year – with only a slight chance of light showers or thunderstorms in the morning. Those chances evaporate by the noon hour, leaving the rest of the day with a few clouds and a southwest breeze that will keep most of the cool Lake Michigan air over the waters themselves. Highs in Sheboygan County are likely to reach the mid-upper 80s, with temperatures feeling more like the low 90s.
Nighttime hours for fireworks enthusiasts are equally as favorable, with rain chances absent the entire night, creating a wide window of safety for staying dry and on-time for the pyrotechnics that light up the sky. Temperatures aren’t likely to dip below the low 70s all night long.
Those planning to extend their celebrations into Saturday and Sunday will need to monitor for showers and thunderstorms beginning Saturday afternoon, with the threat remaining around 30-40% throughout the rest of the weekend. But when it’s not wet, temperatures should remain in the 80s during the day, and 70s at night…typical weather for a 4th of July weekend in Wisconsin.
