A shed located on County Highway MM in northern Sheboygan County sustained significant damage when fire struck at midday on Sunday.
The 911 call came into the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center at 12:49 p.m. Sunday, sending responders to the location about a half mile south of the Village of Ada where the shed was found partially on fire. The Ada, Haven and Howards Grove Fire Departments combined to bring the fire under control, but not before the shed and some portion of the numerous personal items inside had been damaged.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said that no injuries occurred during the operation. Neither the extent of property loss nor the cause of the fire were immediately determined, and the Fire Investigation Team is continuing its look into the event.
