(WHBL) – The Wisconsin Badgers fell to Number-8 Michigan State 71-62 from Breslin Center on Sunday afternoon.
John Blackwell led Wisconsin with 19 points. Nolan Winter grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds to go with nine points as the 12th-ranked Badgers have lost two-of-three and slipped to 22-7.
Jaden Akins netted 19 points to lead the eighth-ranked Spartans, while Jaxon Kohler had 10 points and a career-high 16 rebounds. The Spartans have won five straight to improve to 24-5 on the season and 15-3 in conference play.
Wisconsin visits Minnesota Wednesday night.
