A stretch of extremely cold weather is gradually losing its grip on Wisconsin and the Sheboygan Area.
After a low of 9 below and a high of just 9 above at the airport yesterday, Sheboygan temperatures this Wednesday again resided below zero before sunup with wind chills mostly between 15 and 20 below – bitterly cold, but still better than the previous day – and the trend is all up at this point. But “slow” is the key word as it will take several days to shake off the effects of the past week’s weather, and wind chills will likely not get above zero today.
With clouds and possible snow showers or flurries overnight, low temperatures should stay above zero – even if wind chills again dip below – and the low 20’s are expected on Thursday and Friday. By Sunday we should finally crack the freezing mark, and could hit 40 degrees with possible rain on Monday.
