“Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today” might be the best advice concerning getting around tomorrow afternoon and night. The National Weather Service is keeping a close eye on possible light snow, freezing rain and maybe sleet for good measure – a potentially dangerous combo for anyone walking or traveling.
Amounts aren’t expected to be excessive – but not much of that kind of stuff is needed in order for slick conditions to result. While weather won’t be good here, the worst effects are expected south of the I-94/Highway 18 corridor. Nonetheless, those needing to get around here between around 3 tomorrow afternoon through Thursday morning’s commute should prepare for hazardous conditions. By midday Thursday, sun and mid-30s should begin to naturally take care of whatever isn’t shoveled away.
