A Sheboygan tavern owner whose business remained closed during legal battling is suing the City for lost revenue.
Dave Repinksi owns Dave’s Who’s Inn, a tavern with a long history of tussles with City Hall. Those disagreements reached a climax earlier this year when frequent problems from clientele prompted the City to impose tough restrictions on the business, including a requirement to use a metal detector and using an ID scanner among other steps in order to maintain its Class-B liquor license. In the peak of the conflict in June, Repinski temporarily closed the doors while issues were being resolved between his lawyers and City Hall.
Repinski is requesting nearly $13,000 in his suit.
