It’s time to check the medicine cabinet again, as the second of this year’s national, semi-annual collection of unused and expired medications takes place in just over a week. Healthy Sheboygan County sponsors this fall’s local Drug Take-back event which takes place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 26th at four Sheboygan County locations. Prescription and over-the-counter medications for both people and pets will be accepted and properly disposed of to prevent misuse and contamination of the environment. You can get a look at guidelines and collection points from the Sheboygan Police Department through this link.
