The new Sheboygan Waterfront & Marina Master Plan appears to have gained early approval, at least in committee. The design, developed over the summer by the Smith Group was formally presented a week ago to the Sheboygan Common Council, setting up a two-week public input period before the Council gives thumbs-up or down next week. But today, the Public Works Committee will take up two resolutions to approve marina-related items, among them, the Master Plan presented last week Monday. That comes with an estimated $77 million price tag and would establish Sheboygan’s design for the future of the Marina and Lakefront.
The other resolution concerns adopting a new Marina and Riverfront Slips Fee Schedule for 2025. The meeting takes place at 5:30 this evening at City Hall.
