Wisconsin DOT crews will be busy in Sheboygan County this week, repairing pavement on several area highways. Although no full closures are involved, lane closures and flagging operations are likely to impose at least a few delays to those using the routes involved.
Highway 32 will have several repair operations, with crews working on northbound lanes between Fond du Lac and Crocker Avenues in Sheboygan Falls, as well as the intersection of Spring Street, running from 7 a.m. this Monday until noon on Friday the 18th with lane reductions expected.
The section of 32 in Gibbsville between County Highway “OO” and Clearview Road will host repair crews working both directions on Wednesday between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., with flagging operations to control traffic.
I-43 will have pavement repairs, involving moving lane closures in both directions near Highway 28 on Wednesday between 8 a.m. and noon.
Two sections of Highway 23 will also receive attention this Wednesday the 16th, with repairs between County Highway “P” and 32 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., and at the Onion River bridge between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. that day. Flagging operations will control that traffic, and the DOT is reminding motorists to use caution, pay attention and slow down for the safety of yourself and their crews.
