Gerald L. “Jerry” Wieser, age 71, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2024.
Jerry was born in Plymouth on September 10, 1953, son of the late Cletus and Sylvia (Wondra) Wieser. He
attended Plymouth area schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1971.
After high school, Jerry completed a plumbing apprenticeship at Kohlmann & Mueller Plumbing & Heating
in St. Cloud. He became a Master Plumber and spent over 40 years in the industry, working at Plymouth
Plumbing & Heating before retiring in 2013. In 1994, Jerry and his brother Tom opened Tom & Jerry’s Mini
Golf in Plymouth, which later expanded to include batting cages. In retirement, he remained active in the
community, contributing to various home building projects around Plymouth with his brothers and some
of his best friends, most recently with MooTown Properties.
On August 9, 1975, he married his high school sweetheart Mary Mugan at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in
the Town of Mitchell.
He was a charter member of Plymouth Alliance Church and served on the building committee for many
years, helping to facilitate, organize, and contribute to countless projects on the church building and
grounds.
Jerry was a cherished member of the Sargento Softball team for many years. An avid Green Bay Packers
fan, he proudly held both season tickets and stock in the team. He also enjoyed cheering for the
Milwaukee Brewers. Above all, Jerry treasured time with his family, whether at garage parties, Packers
games, or on the golf course, often giving his grandchildren joyful rides in his Jeep and golf cart.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; four children: Greg (Courtney) Wieser of Plymouth, Jessica (Matthew)
Roll of Davenport, Iowa, Mike (Tiffany) Wieser of Plymouth, and Louie (Cassi) Wieser of Oregon,
Wisconsin; eight grandchildren: Abe, Mya, Sylvia, Alice, Patrick, Finley, Eleanor, and Steele; five siblings:
