A slide off a roadway resulted in hospitalization for a motorcyclist over the weekend. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene on County Highways “F” and “W” in the Town of Mitchell shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday when the cyclist passed another vehicle at normal speed, but wasn’t able to negotiate a curve at that point, entered loose gravel and struck a culvert, throwing the operator from the cycle.
The driver was wearing a helmet, but still needed to be taken to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa via Flight for Life. There’s no word on the identity or condition of that motorcyclist this morning.
