The Assistant Fire Chief for Sheboygan Falls is has been placed on administrative leave, and is in jail facing felony child sex assault charges.
45-year-old John Albright appeared in Sheboygan County Circuit Court on Monday for his preliminary hearing. Court documents allege that the assaults happened in 2008 or 2009 during a party Albright had at his home. Reports indicate that the victim was 13 or 14 years old at the time.
Albright has been in the Sheboygan County jail since his arrest last week, and the City of Sheboygan Falls Police Department said in a press release that the Sheboygan Police department has been put in charge of conducting the criminal investigation.
