Of an initial eleven local and regional entries, two contestants for the title of “The Coolest Thing Made in Wisconsin” have been entered in the Top-16 Bracket of the “Manufacturing Madness Tournament” presented by Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) and Johnson Financial Group. The select group were the survivors among 130 nominated products that garnered nearly 40,000 online votes from the public last week. The head-to-head tournament-style bracket contest will be narrowed down to eight survivors via the next round of voting that concludes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1st.
Plymouth’s “Carbliss” line of canned cocktails has been seeded #3 in the tournament, while the #13 seed has been assigned to Jolly Good Soda by Krier Foods of Random Lake.
Votes will be accepted online at www.madeinwis.com beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, and conclude at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 1st. The top 8 will then advance to the next round.
