Sheboygan Police Department
Another stabbing incident has been handled by Sheboygan Police following a disturbance on Thursday night.
The SPD reports responding to the 1000 block of Kentucky Avenue just after 8 last night where a 41-year-old Sheboygan man had been stabbed. The victim was taken by Sheboygan Fire Department ambulance to a local hospital for treatment, while the search for the suspect began.
Officers were able to locate the suspect, a 59-year-old male, at a nearby residence where he was taken into custody.
The victim was eventually transferred to a Milwaukee hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, while the suspect was jailed at the Sheboygan County Detention Center where he awaits his initial court appearance on a charge of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety. Investigation continues into the incident by the Sheboygan Police Department, which said there’s no ongoing risk to the public.
