Joseph J. Lisowe Jr. “Joey”, age 45, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at Sharon Richardson
Community Hospice on September 9, 2024.
He was born in Sheboygan on January 30, 1979, son of Joseph Sr. and Debra (Ladwig) Lisowe. Joey
attended Plymouth area grade schools and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1997.
Following high school, he worked many different jobs before starting his own business as an
independent contractor.
Joey enjoyed watching and playing sports, especially basketball, baseball, and golf. He also spent many
years coaching his sons baseball and basketball teams. He also enjoyed cooking, shooting pool, and
most of all loved spending time with his children, and dogs Harlee and Addie.
He is survived by: Three children: Jeremy of Oshkosh, Jayde of New Holstein, and Jaxon of Brillion;
Parents, Joe and Debi of Plymouth; Brothers: Ben (Robin) and Ryan (significant other, Chris Preder) both
of Plymouth; Niece, Britta; Nephews: Braden and Zach; As well as many aunts, uncles, other relatives,
and friends.
Joey was preceded in death by: Paternal grandparents, Ervin and Dorothea Lisowe; Maternal
grandparents, Wes and Vi Ladwig; and Uncles: Bill Schroeder and Richard Lisowe.
A celebration of Joey’s life will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at New Life Community Church in
Plymouth. Visitation will take place from 1:00-4:00pm, with a service to follow at 4:00pm. Pastor Aaron
Martell will officiate, and the service will be live-streamed and available to watch on the New Life
Community Church YouTube page, https://www.youtube.com/@newlifecommunitychurchplym4633.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Joey’s name.
The family would like to send special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical
Center in Milwaukee, as well as Sharon Richarsdon, for the wonderful care and compassion given to
Joey.
