The widow of Herbert V. Kohler has passed away. Natalie Black Kohler, who held top executive positions at the Kohler Company died at her home on Tuesday at age 74.
Natalie graduated magna cum laude from Marquette Law School and was also degreed in economics and math at Stanford, attended Harvard Business School, and joined the legal department of the Kohler Company in 1981. During her career she guided the manufacturer and hospitality company through global expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and established Kohler’s communications headquarters known as The Beacon.
Natalie Black Kohler was also a well-known philanthropist, heading the Kohler Foundation as president from 1998 to 2022, and served on many professional boards and organizations.
A private service will be held, and those wishing to honor her are asked to donate to the Black Spring Foundation which supports literacy in the Sheboygan Area School District, or to the Sheboygan County Food Bank.
