Anita M. Knuth, 91, of Sheboygan, was welcomed into the arms of our Lord Jesus on Sunday, September
8, 2024, at Sheboygan Health Services in Sheboygan. She was born on March 17, 1933 to the late Charles
and Viola (Nesfield) Owen.
Anita was longtime member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Sheboygan. She was involved in many
aspects of church life there, including the choir and teaching Sunday School. Her faith in our Lord Jesus
Christ was evident in her life.
She enjoyed her work as a talented cake decorator, bringing joy to many with her beautiful cake creations.
Later in life she worked as a certified nursing assistant. She had great compassion working with her
patients in hospice care. Anita showed selfless devotion to her family and never missed an opportunity to
give a hug. Her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her three children, Julie (Fred) Ratzlaff, Debbie Seefeldt and David (Tomi) Knuth; nine
grandchildren, Aaron (Linny) Ratzlaff, Ryan Ratzlaff, Derek (Kassi) Seefeldt, Nicholas (Chloe) Seefeldt,
Tara (Ricky) Seefeldt, Olivia (Andrew) Harris, Vanessa (Jeremy) Mursu, Victoria (Alex) Lesher and
Elizabeth (Aaron) Weiglein; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Viola Owen; one brother Robert Owen; one sister
Betty Whitehead and one great-grandchild Evelyn Lesher.
A funeral service for Anita will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Our Redeemer
Lutheran Church, 3027 Wilgus Ave, Sheboygan, WI 53081, with Rev. Bryan Osladil officiating. The
family will greet friends and relatives at the church on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of the
service. Her funeral service will be available via livestream/recording on the funeral home’s website if
you are unable to attend in person. Anita will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, Janesville, WI on
Friday, September 13, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
