Sheboygan Police say an officer shot a man who had attacked and disarmed another officer. The incident happened early Sunday evening near 13th Street and Superior Avenue after police got a call about a man waving a gun. The suspect reportedly charged at one of the officers and removed the officer’s gun from their duty belt. The other officer shot the suspect, who was flown by a Flight For Life helicopter to a hospital in the Green Bay area. There’s no word about the suspect’s condition or identity, other than he’s 23-years-old and is expected to undergo surgery. The officer who was attacked suffered minor injuries, according to Sheboygan Police.
